Do you want to discover the origins of the Sillar stone? We will be picking you up from the hotel at 08:30 am. And we will go to the A\u00f1ashuayco Quarry, here the guide will give you explanations about the process of extraction of the Sillar, stone that was used to build houses, churches and mansions of the city. You will also learn about the carving, carving and mega carving that the stonemasons do every day.<\/p>\r\n

Next, you will go to the Culebrillas ravine, a quarry that is not in exploitation. Arriving at this point will make a 20-minute walk into the small canyon that was formed by water erosion that has a measure of 15 to 20 meters high. And finally you will observe some petroglyphs made by the Wari culture more than a thousand years ago. You can also see apachetas which are formations of stones as a symbol of gratitude to nature and as an attraction of good luck. You can take the opportunity to take pictures. Then we return to Arequipa to finish the tour.<\/p>\r\n
