What do you expect from the Tiwanaku and Puma Punku Tour?

In a private tour, you will enjoy to the maximum the attractions of an ancient archaeological city, capital of the Tiahuanacota State. This place is surrounded by nature.

Breakfast at the Puno hotel.

We will pick you up from your hotel between 06:40 – 07:00 a.m. We leave the city to the south of Puno, during the trip we will pass through the peninsula of Chucuito where you will find a construction of the Inca period, followed by the Hayumarka Gate or Portal of Aramu Muro, you can also see the magical Lake Titicaca and the traditional villages.

Once in Desaguadero border with Bolivia will present their identity documents for the respective migration procedures, for this, they will have personalized assistance by the tour guide. Arrival to Tiahuanaco and before continuing with the tour you will have lunch.

After a brief rest, you will have a guided tour in the archaeological site whose main attraction is the Puma Punku or the Sun Gate, a door carved in a single piece of rock, you will also see some ruins of great architectural and iconographic richness of pre-Inca culture: The Temple of Kalasasaya which is believed to have been a ritual platform built with giant blocks of red sandstone, the monoliths of Ponce and Fraile, the astronomical Temples, the Lithic museum where this the most important structures such as the Monolitos de Bennet or Pacha Mama, the Akapana Pyramid.

Almost at the end of the tour we go to the handicraft center where you can buy some souvenirs.

Return to Puno around 19:00 hrs.
