What to expect from this experience?

Enjoy the nature and adventure of the Humantay Lagoon, this attraction is an incredible alternative to visit and appreciate the impressive turquoise glaciers that surround it, you can also explore valleys, mountains and snow-capped mountains.

04:30 hrs. 18:00 hrs.

We will pick you up from the hotel between 04:00 – 05:00 a.m. to start the tour, we leave Cusco heading northeast of the city for 2 hours drive to reach the village of Mollepata where you will have breakfast. then continue to the starting point of the hike Soraypampa for 30 minutes more. From here you can see the snowy Salkantay the second highest point of Cusco 6237 meters above sea level. You start the hike for 1 ½ hours until you reach the Humantay Lagoon (4200 masl), you also have the option to rent horses if you are already tired, at this point the guide will meet with the group to explain details about the lagoon.

You will have free time to take pictures and observe this magical attraction. Then we start the descent to Soraypampa for 1 ½ hour.

The way back to the restaurant is easier, after lunch we return to Cusco arriving at 18:00 hours.
